Did you know Charlie Chaplin's body was stolen from his grave shortly after he passed away? The grave robbers used it as leverage for ransom from the Chaplin family. This happened in Paris.

I only learned of this true story when I began providing legal assistance to my client, Dystopian Films, in connection with this film project.

While the true story happened in Paris, this film is set in Vegas, and involves a pair of brothers who attempt a similar scheme with Chaplin's body.

The movie stars Simon Phillips, Doug Phillips, Bianca Katz, Al Sapienza, Charlie Chaplin and Wayne Newton and is directed by Paul Tanter.

Dystopian Films is a production company by Ken Bressers, Simon Phillips and Paul Tanter,  known for other projects such as the TV series Age of the Living Dead and film, The Nights Before Christmas.

Paul Tanter and Simon Phillips are prolific in the UK indie film scene.

Together, the trio is expanding its productions to the U.S. and Canada, with exciting projects on the horizon.
